Terms and Conditions 

a. Valid ticket must be presented for admission to the expo.

b. The ticket is not refundable.

c. Each person must hold a valid ticket.

d. No prior notice will be given for any change on programs.

e. The organizer reserves the rights to refuse the admission to any visitors deemed inappropriate.

f.  No smoking, eating and drinking is allowed in the event venue.

g. Special arrangement will be rendered if Organizer cancels the expo due to bad weather or sudden conditions.

h. Organizer will not bear any liability or responsibility on the products or services sold by the exhibitors.

i. Arrangement of the exhibition should be relied on the latest announcement by the organizer.

k. The organizer reserves the right to make the final decision of any dispute.

 

Visiting of Species-specific in exhibition conditions:

 

Dogs

1.       All dog(s) in the exhibition must be implanted with a microchip for identification. If the dog(s) is over 5 months of age, it must have been duly inoculated against rabies and be accompanied by a valid dog licence issued by our Department.

 

2.       All dog(s) in the exhibition must be fully vaccinated against common infectious diseases at least 14 days prior to the exhibition, which include:

Ø  Canine distemper,

Ø  Canine viral hepatitis,

Ø  Canine parvovirus, and

Ø  Any such additional diseases as this Department may consider appropriate.

 

3.       All dog(s) in the exhibition must be leashed or otherwise under control by other means at all times.

 

4.       Visiting dogs being brought into the exhibition venue must be implanted with a microchip for identification; and be leashed or is otherwise under control at all times. If the dog(s) is over 5 months of age, it must have been duly inoculated against rabies and be accompanied by a valid dog licence issued by our Department.

 

Cats

1.       All cat(s) in the exhibition must be fully vaccinated against rabies and common infectious diseases at least 14 days prior to the exhibition, which include:

Ø  Feline panleucopenia ( feline infectious enteritis),

Ø  Feline respiratory diseases, commonly known as ‘cat flu’, and

Ø  Any such additional diseases as this Department may consider appropriate.

 

Visiting cats being brought into the exhibition venue must be fully vaccinated against common infectious disease.

 

General Rules:

 

1.       The animal(s) must be examined by a registered veterinary surgeon at least 30 days before the exhibition and certified by him/her to be in good health, free from disease and suitable for exhibition. A set of Health Certificate issued by the registered veterinary surgeon for the animal(s) must always be readily available.

 

2.       If an animal during the exhibition is found ill, it must be removed from the exhibition premises immediately for treatment by a registered veterinary surgeon.

 

3.       All manure and other waste from the animal(s) must be collected and disposed of properly.

 

4.       Different species of animals should be properly segregated. All necessary and proper precautionary measures must be taken to minimize disease transmission between different species of animals.

 

5.       The Public Health (Animals and Birds) Ordiance (Cap.139), the Dogs and Cats Ordinance (Cap. 167), the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Ordiance (cap. 169), the Rabies Ordinance (Cap. 421) and the Protection of Endangered Species of Animals and Plants Ordinance (Cap. 586), and their subsidiary legislation and all other relevant legislation must be fully complies with at all times.
